26Aug2017: I Filled a Pothole!

This is the first real diary entry, not blogged to the Road Committee email list.

Last Saturday, I filled a pothole on ELG Road near the Mustys' transformer.  It took two 5-gal buckets of ABC (with fines) and I tamped it with a heavy dig bar.

Online sources say that the real problem is underground water.  I think it would be better to:

• dig the hole out a little
• put in a big rock
• then fill and tamp to road level

We'll see how that works out.
